Great find, but people who are cleaning them up start to get sick... and die. Anne and her team must first find out what is causing it all, and then come up with a solution to a 200-million-year-old mystery.

Anne Swift and the Incendiary Insect Infestation--Anne Swift story 6: When people and animals die during an unseen attack in the small upstate New York town of Bombay, Anne is dragged way from a family vacation to investigate. She is assigned a young woman from the military as an assistant in a case that has more secrets than answers. Things go terribly wrong when she finds out who is behind the incident, and nearly gets killed in the process!

And, the reader gets to see the process that took Anne from a housewife to becomming a secret scientist for the FBI.

Fourth volume in this series begins with a big problem in India. They've been trying to launch a space station of their own but every launch has been failing. Damon practically has to force his way there to investigate the troubles and ends up saving the day more than once.

Next, he returns to Australia where wild sheep, kangaroos and camels are causing major headaches, but finds there are a lot of people who want to do it their own way, so much so he is nearly killed for his troubles.

Damon Swift--a Pair of Rather Long Short Stories
